At IBC, everyone is encouraged to join one of our Servant Fellowships, groups of people who get together to serve in particular way (e.g. Musical Servants’ Fellowship) or in a particular area (like Youth Ministry Servant Fellowship). Eighteen of these Servant Fellowships are listed and described below; we’d like to know if you are interested in connecting to any of them. Just check the appropriate box.

When you submit your form, we will pass along your name & contact info to the Leading Servants in the Fellowships you’ve indicated. Thanks for your participation!

NOTE: A Leading Servant is someone who takes responsibility for coordinating the other servants in the fellowship and sometimes requires additional training or experience.

Teens Servant FellowshipI’d like to join this fellowshipI’d like to be a Leading Servant in this areaInvolve teens in the SIX THINGS (Word – Worship – Prayer | Show Up – Open Up – Share), with a strong focus on clear gospel communication, inviting kids to trust themselves to Christ. Encourage young people to develop their own relationships with God and with the Church, independent of their parents. Activities: Midweek Youth Meeting, Sunday School, Camp, Mission/Service Projects, After School Hangout, Other Youth Events.

Sunday Worship Branch

Musical Servants FellowshipI’d like to join this fellowshipI’d like to be a Leading Servant in this areaServe together to plan and present the weekly music program of the church in a way that leads the congregation in true worship–reviewing the gospel and trusting ourselves to God as living sacrifices. Develop the musical talent of the church. Develop a biblical understanding of the role of music in the life of the church. Activities: Musical Instruction, song selection and arrangement, music rehearsal, leading the song service on Sunday, singing, playing an instrument, Bible study, prayer.

A/V Servant FellowshipI’d like to join this FellowshipI’d like to be a Leading Servant in this areaServe together to develop and provide necessary technical support for the Sunday worship service, and other events as needed. Activities: Audio set-up and mixing, video projection, and live streaming production. Ongoing assessment of hardware and software requirements.

Welcoming Servant FellowshipI’d like to join this Servant FellowshipI’d like to be a Leading Servant in this areaProvide a warm welcome to people attending the Sunday worship service, especially to newcomers and visitors. Provide information that will help people find a place of involvement in fellowship as quickly as possible. Activities: Greeting people at the door, helping them find a place, providing bulletins and other needed information, preparing food and drink service for fellowship time, take up the offering as needed.

Preaching & Leading Servants FellowshipI’d like to join this Servant FellowshipI’d like to be a Leading Servant in this areaPrepare and present the non-musical parts of the Sunday worship service. Activities: Master of ceremonies, preaching, prayers, readings, announcements, benedictions, communion, translations.

Support Services Branch

Facilities Servant FellowshipI’d like to join this Servant FellowshipI’d like to be a Leading Servant in this areaManage the development, maintenance, and repair of the church building, grounds, and other facilities. Involve the congregation in taking care of the church’s facilities. Activities: weekly cleaning and setup, regular survey for maintenance and repair, groundskeeping, improvement planning, contractor management, organize workdays and clean-ups as needed.

IT & Web Servant FellowshipI’d like to join this Servant FellowshipI’d like to be a Leading Servant in this areaDevelop and maintain any necessary information technologies to facilitate the service of all ministry teams. Develop and maintain the internet presence of the church. Evaluate and fill hardware and software needs, oversee implementation of IT solutions, develop and maintain church websites and other online services, develop and maintain social media presence, facilitate social media presence for other ministry teams, facilitate podcast production and distribution.

Administrative Servants FellowshipI’d like to join this Servant FellowshipI’d like to be a Leading Servant in this areaProvide any necessary administrative services for the healthy functioning of the whole ministry: Cash and other Asset Management, Bookkeeping, Financial Management, Financial Reporting, Banking, Government Records, Registrations, and Reporting, HR Management and Compliance, Scheduling, Purchasing, Communications, Publications, Fund-raising, Contact Management and Development.

Personal Care Branch

Prayer Expeditors FellowshipI’d like to join this Servant FellowshipI’d like to be a Leading Servant in this areaDevelop and implement plans for encouraging the church to pray for one another, for every element of our ministry together, and for other needs in our community and the world. Activities: Prayer teams, prayer request gathering and communication, prayer list tracking and management, prayer meetings, Prayer Walk.

Personal Care Servant FellowshipI’d like to join this Servant FellowshipI’d like to be a Leading Servant in this areaDevelop and implement plans for meeting material needs and taking care of one another in the congregation and in the community. Home visits, hospital visits, providing meals in cases of hospitalization, death, or other difficult seasons, recognizing birthdays and anniversaries, personal counseling, food box distribution, and meeting other benevolence needs.

Missionary Contact Servants FellowshipI’d like to join this Servant FellowshipI’d like to be a Leading Servant in this areaMaintain contact and communication with IBC missionaries and mission groups, keep the congregation well informed about the lives and work of our missionaries, and keep our missionaries informed about life here at IBC and in Bonaire. Foster interest and involvement in missions in the congregation. Activities: Regular communication with our missionaries, presentations in the worship service, distribution of newsletters. Develop and implement short-term mission projects.
