Building Fund
Building Site
We are grateful that the government of Bonaire has agreed to allocate the International Bible Church of Bonaire a corner lot not far from the circle/ Round About. This is a long lease land. On Bonaire it is common practice for the government to lease land for 60 years at a very low annual cost. This lease is always renewable by law.
FINANCE COMMITTEE UPDATE
Now that we have property allocated to International Bible Church we have begun the process of building our new church home. In conjunction with this a building fund has grown to $54,000(95,000Naf) as of August 1, 2009. The pr
efab metal building (roof metal, walls will be cement) has arrived and we are in the process of putting in the foundation and erecting the steel portion (check the photos). At this time we are short about 10,000naf to complete the erection of the steel portion of the building. Any help at this time will enable us to complete this. This is an excellent beginning, but there is an urgent need to reach our goal and get our building started. Our goal is $125,000
(200,000 Naf).
WE NEED YOUR HELP
Donations to our Church Building Fund.
We are now being supported by our sister church, Community Bible Church of Nashville Tenn. in our effort to build a new church. The following letter was received from Community Bible Church (CBC);
Dear CBC Contributors,
We are happy to announce the additions of a new project to the list of overseas ministries supported by your generosity. International Bible Church in Bonaire (Netherlands Antilles) is developing plans for a new facility and Community Bible Church wants to help.
If you’d like to contribute to this endeavor, make your check payable to Community Bible Church , and designate it “ IBC Building ” in the memo line. 100% of funds we receive with this designation will be used to support the IBC project.
Contributions made in this manner are completely tax deductible to U.S. federal income taxpayers
